This Privacy Policy describes how Vickers Russe Law, PLLC, operating the PRONTOLawDOC platform (“PLD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to prontolawdoc.com and licensed attorneys (“Licensees”) who use the PRONTOLawDOC platform.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors to prontolawdoc.com
- Licensees — licensed attorneys and law firms who register for and use the PRONTOLawDOC platform
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the end clients of Licensees. Licensees are responsible for their own privacy practices with respect to their clients’ data.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you register as a Licensee or use the platform, we collect:
- Name and law firm name
- Email address and bar number(s)
- Office address and phone number
- Website URL and firm branding information
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store payment card data)
- Google account OAuth tokens (stored securely, used for document services)
- Document and clause customization preferences
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit prontolawdoc.com we may collect IP address, browser type, pages visited, and device type.
2.3 Information From Third-Party Services
We receive information from Stripe (payment confirmation), Google (OAuth authentication tokens), and Google Forms (client intake data submitted through the platform).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your Licensee account
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Generate and deliver estate planning documents
- Send account notifications and platform updates
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations and improve the platform
We do not use your information for advertising purposes. PRONTOLawDOC does not display advertisements and does not sell your information to third parties.
4. Client Data
4.1 Licensee Responsibility
Licensees are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their clients and complying with all applicable privacy laws and state bar rules regarding client confidentiality.
4.2 Our Handling of Client Data
Client intake data is collected via Google Forms, stored temporarily in Google Sheets for document generation, and stored in the Licensee’s own Google Drive workspace. We retain order and document metadata for one year from the date of generation. We do not share client data with any third parties except as necessary for document generation.
5. Google Integration
PRONTOLawDOC uses Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms to provide its document automation services. By connecting your Google account you authorize PRONTOLawDOC to:
- Create and manage folders in your Google Drive
- Create, copy, edit, and export Google Docs
- Read and write to Google Sheets
- Access Google Forms responses
We access your Google account only as necessary to provide the platform services. We do not access, read, or store any Google Drive content beyond what is necessary for document generation and delivery.
Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
PRONTOLawDOC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms are trademarks of Google LLC.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with Stripe (payment processing), Google (document services), and as required by law or in connection with a business transfer.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including HTTPS encryption, secure OAuth token storage, access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
- Licensee account data — duration of subscription plus one year after cancellation
- Order and document metadata — one year from date of generation
- Payment records — as required by applicable law and Stripe’s retention policies
- Google OAuth tokens — until you disconnect your Google account or cancel your subscription
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, disconnect your Google account, and export your data. To exercise any of these rights contact us at privacy@prontolawdoc.com.
10. Cookies
prontolawdoc.com uses cookies for session management and security only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some platform features may not function correctly.
11. Children’s Privacy
PRONTOLawDOC is intended for licensed attorneys and legal professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Licensees of material changes by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
